August 26, 2026 -  DJ&A, LLC, Robinson Engineering, Creative Engineering Group, and WEST Consultants — four  firms operating under shared ownership and leadership — today announced their acquisition of Filippin Engineering  of Goleta, California. The partnership adds Filippin Engineering’s expertise in public works engineering and  construction management to the larger organization’s primary offerings of engineering, surveying, environmental,  planning, and related services, and combined personnel of over 500 professionals across 25 offices in 13 states.  

Filippin Engineering specializes in serving public agencies across California's Central Coast, focusing on construction  engineering and inspection for public works capital improvement projects. The firm’s core services are construction  management, inspection, civil engineering, program management, staff augmentation, labor compliance, and  specification writing. With offices in Goleta, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura, the partnership expands the DJ&A  organization's reach into California's Central Coast.
